Zenko International is a non-profit association of kyudojo (practice halls) throughout North America. Zenko’s main goal is to promote the Heki Ryu Bishu Chikurin Ha style of meditation kyudo as taught by founder Kanjuro Shibata XX. Zenko provides the umbrella under which each kyudojo operates and the organization is supported by member dues, program income and tax-deductible donations. Headquartered at Zenko Kyudojo in Boulder, Colorado, Zenko International was founded in the 1980s and is now overseen by Kanjuro Shibata XXI.
